Ownership

The DLFA shall directly sell a DLFA team operating license and a limited partner revenue interest to select, financially qualified, private ownership groups in each of its pre-selected DLFA consumers. Said ownership groups may not exceed thirty-five (35) persons and may be inclusive of natural persons and/or corporate entities.

No licensed DLFA ownership group, nor any individual or corporate member thereof, may directly or indirectly own an interest in any other professional American Football League and or team thereof nor own an interest in any affiliated organization with an ownership interest thereof. However; any said private ownership group may directly or indirectly own an ownership interest in any professional non football league; or any team thereof.

Each DLFA private ownership group must have the following minimum, Executive team operational personnel in place prior to securing a licensed DLFA team:

1. Chief Executive Officer
2. Chief Operating Officer/General Manager
3. Chief Financial Officer
4. Marketing Officer
5. Advertising Officer
6. Community Relations Officer
7. Academic Advisory Officer
8. Head Football Coach + Staff

All prospective DLFA ownership groups shall be required to submit a personal financial statement in order to demonstrate their ability to both purchase and operate a DLFA team on a going forward basis.
